Haven't had Pho in years and this place had great noodles. I'd definitely come back

My preferred spot for Vietnamese food. i was so full. the service was very helpful and welcoming. the bill was reasonable i would say.

While visiting Modesto we were looking for a good place for pho.. thankfully we found this little place. The place is small and can be to crowded which is the only downside. They do have a upstairs area to eat as well in case downstairs is to full. Prices are very good actually and quantity of the pho is very big! We ordered 2 large pho and it fed all 6 of us including a toddler and we were over full! Now that’s what I’m talking about!! I love to be overfull with some good pho! The pho was pretty good, had great flavor!!! If anyone is looking for a large and I mean large portion of pho that is cheap ($10) and delicious then definitely come here!! Service was quick and waitresses were extremely friendly!! All around 5 stars for me!! Definitely will be coming back when visiting Modesto area again!!

Low mein chicken was the bomb. Spring rolls were amazing and fresh. Peanut sauce was very nice. Waitress was very friendly and helpful.

This place never disappoints. Classic Vietnamese food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. Sometimes they get super busy and have slow service but it isn't bad enough to take away a star. Their pho is amazing, and their noodle bowls are outstanding. Highly recommended.

I like this restaurant. I don't like tripe and strange things like that, but I just try to avoid them. There a a few different soups, and that's what I usually get. The flavors are very, very good, and I always leave feeling like I'm not overindulging. The rolls are delicious; as a matter of fact, I have enjoyed everything I have eaten at Phoenix Noodle House. Before ordering, however, be sure to check on the ingredients. Tripe's not for me!

Amazing place to share food with friends. You can try different soups.

Servings are very large. Broth is very mild and meats, steak and meatballs, had little flavor. There are many flavor additions provided on the table. There is lots of fresh basil, slices of lime and jalapeno, and bean sprouts for that crunch. There are at least 6 sauces you can add as well.

I rate the food a 4.5 but gave 5 starts because the service was excellent. The best waitress we've had in a long time served us promptly and was very patient with us and our 2 small children. We will definitely be back for more.

The service was great I didn't care to much for the pho though. I'm a tuff critic when it comes to that.

Had the #6 Pho medium bowl was as good as ever had plenty to take home. The Thai tea was nice and strong as well. This is the house to place for Pho in Modesto expect a wait.

I love Bun. Our daughter started us on Vietnamese food. When looking at the menu I always want Bun. But didn't see it. Yes they have it but is in the Vermicelli portion of the menu. The cook even came out to see what it was I really wanted because I was trying to explain to waitress but am fairly new at Vietnamese food. The cook was really nice and did exactly what I wanted. Love their food.

So far our favorite pho place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their broth is always on point, and good broth is key to good pho. I really love the noodle salads too.

Excellent Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Parking is a bit challenging to find. The dining area is dated but clean. Area is urban with other businesses. Felt safe.

Ate here for the first time and ordered chicken pho and a thai tea. I was so happy that the broth was a chicken base as I don't eat beef. Very good flavor. It came with all fixins of standard pho minus the thai basil. Service was nice. I will be back again.

Definitely the best pho in all of Modesto. The broth is so flavorful and the service is good. Other menu items are very tasty as well. I do always have to ask for basil though which from a business standpoint I understand if it's not very popular with the customers but when I ask for it they always have it.

The food here has never disappointed me! Always absolutely delicious with a good flavor. The staff Is welcoming, friendly, and polite. Ive been coming to this spot for a year and a half now. I have to say this is my favorite vietnamese restaurant in modesto! Hands down my choice every time. From the tasty food, nice staff, and great prices how could I not come back? Highly recommend ❤

Vietnamese food and service here is better than most. the staff was sociable and attentive. the place has a nice feel to it.

My wife has been ordering from here for years and i never suspected anything out of the ordinary until the last time. After 3 weeks of a stay-at-home I knew i was in real trouble with her. When she pulled the sword I took the hint and out of a sense desperation I ordered her the #6. Rare steak and brisket phở that she usually gets. With the first spoonful she was a different woman and I have rarely seen that level of satisfaction on her face. I don't know what they put in this soup but either she is physically addicted or it IS that good. I had to give them a good review after they saved my life.

This place always has great service and great food. They also are very fast at getting orders out which is a plus. I can recommend for a fresh and light pair would be the mixed spring rolls and the coconut pineapple smoothie.
